Village Hojsova Straz is located at an altitude of 890 m, in the western part of Sumava, Zelezna Ruda is about 10 km from here. Cottage Snehulak its location in National Park Sumava while excellent transport accessibility is "Hojsovka" perfect for a holiday. Even in the past our cottage served as the "Ferienhaus" for tourists at the end of 19 century and during the First Republic, we are continuing on this tradition with a humility.
Accommodation:
We tried for you to create a pleasant environment for which you will remember and even because of this is prohibited smoking throughout the building. Last year (2009) we completed a reconstruction of all the interior and as a bonus, put a new roof and expanded capacity.
The building has a ground floor and attic - on the ground floor there are 3 rooms, then we have a common kitchen and common room. In the attic there are 3 bedrooms plus one suite (apartment 2 +1). The total capacity of our Sumava accommodation is 26 beds. There is also available to all guests room for ski and shoes with driers wet shoes. Bicycles can be stored in a locked shed. Car can be parked directly at the cottage.
Boarding:
Possibility of boarding: can be used for self-cooking kitchen in the room or the common one, if you stay in a room without kitchen. The stocks you can buy in a close shop. If you don´t want to cook, you can visit some of the excellent restaurants in the village.
The nearest restaurant is directly across the road (30 meters), the others are in the village. Can be order half or full board in a hotel Na Strazi (breakfast - 60 CZK, lunch - CZK 80, dinner - 80 CZK).
Surroundings:
In the village and its surroundings there are hiking and cycle trails which have an interesting targets (eg, waterfall Bila Strz, Cerne and Certovo lake, a popular tops of Sumava - Maly and Velky Ostry, Pancir, and many more ...) . Even the skiers have a large choice - hiking trails in the winter turns to the cross country trails. More dificult skiing is possible in sports complex Spicak (approximately 7 km - accessible by train, car or bus).
